Onis H. “O.H.” Price, 101, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at his home.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Lee Price, grandson, officiating. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Onis was born July 10, 1921 in Udall, Missouri to Charles and Anna Price. Soon after high school, he enlisted in the Army Air Force and served in WWII. On January 14, 1944, he married Joy Reeves in Harvard, Nebraska. She passed away on August 28, 1995. They moved to Pampa in 1951 from Chama, New Mexico due to his job. He was a truck driver, delivering lumber, and was a lifelong farmer. He loved farming and was still driving the tractor at age 94. Onis loved his family and friends and Pampa. He always said, “Pampa was good to me and my kids.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dr. Charles Price; a brother, Frank Price; and a sister, Juanita Satterfield.

Survivors include his three daughters, Ellen Ann Sharpley of Carrolton, Charlotte Kay Atkinson and husband Ray of Leander, and Jo Linda Carter and husband Rob of Canyon; two sons, Harold Price and wife Kim of Pampa and Larry Herman and wife Jenelle of Clay Center, Nebraska; brother, Don Price of Nixa, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Sheri Price of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren, Lee Price and wife Jana, Judson Price and wife Lynde, Jonathan Sharpley and wife Tang, Jessica Kilgore and husband Chuck, Olivia Cockrell and husband Michael, Aaron Brown and wife Breanne, Brye Carter and wife Jaime, Kemp Carter and wife Betsi, Trent Price and wife Kendall, Lilly Brewer and husband Chase, and Robyn VonSpeckelsen and husband Scott; and 28 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to a favorite charity.
