Otis James Franks, 50, of Shamrock died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Wheeler.

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Monday, February 28, 2022 in the First Baptist Church in Shamrock with Daylon Kirkland, officiating.

Cremation & Arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Shamrock.

Otis was born March 8, 1971 in Shamrock to Paul and Colleen Lee Franks. He was a lifetime resident of Shamrock and was a 1989 graduate of Shamrock High School. Otis was a talented mechanic and started when he was 8 years old. He was a 20 year member of the Shamrock Volunteer Fire Department. Otis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He loved tractors and anything John Deere. Otis was a Grandpa to many young kids and was a dear friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons, P.J. Franks and JD Franks of Shamrock; his daughter, Krystal Franks of Grandview; his brother, Gary Franks of Pampa; his sister, Paulina Woods of White Deer; his grandchildren, Camden Franks and Wayne Franks; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
