The Pampa Boxing Club just opened the new addition to their gym, Brick Street Nutrition. The Pampa Boxing Club is owned by Cris Larrazolo of Pampa and Brick Street Nutrition will be managed by his long-time girlfriend, Tereza Soto.

The Pampa Boxing Club is a non-profit organization that teaches kids to box. Fundraisers are held throughout the year to pay for young boxers to compete outside of Pampa.

Brick Street Nutrition is the newest addition to the organization that opened on Memorial Day- offering healthy, delicious drinks and meal-replacement shakes for those who are looking to shed a few extra pounds.

“Our teas are for energy and boosting your metabolism,” Soto said.

Flavors include marshmallow, caramel, coconut, blueberry, amaretto, cookie dough and more.

“Our shakes are actually meal-replacement shakes depending on what size and how much protein you get. And everything is sugar-free.”

“It gives you all the calories, vitamins and nutrition you need. A lot of times, the people who are trying to lose weight will drink two (shakes) a day and have one healthy meal and two snacks,” Soto said.

Soto also has a referral program that would allow regular customers to earn a discount.

“I give my customers five invites (paper card)- they put their names on the back of it. If those five invites come back to me with their name on it, you get a free combo on me,” she said.

Soto says that her personal favorite drinks are the cookie dough shakes and cool cucumber tea.

Currently, Pampa Boxing Club and Brick Street Nutrition are not requiring or asking their customers to wear face masks, but they are monitoring how many people are in the building at once in an effort to keep COVID-19 concerns at bay.

“I have been watching how many people are in here, especially in the evenings when we have our boxers in here. We can have 50 people in the building at a time,” Soto said.
