Pampa chosen for movie premiere

At Noon on Saturday, Oct. 26, Pampa Cinema4 Theater will premiere director/producer Dave Cristiano’s newest film, The Perfect Race. This inspirational, Christian movie follows Coach Courtney Smith-Donnelly (Allee-Sutton Hethcoat) as she takes her coaching wisdom to a small Christian college. In her new position as track coach, she works with a female athlete trying to overcome long odds to win a national title in the 800-meter run. The film also stars Clarence Gilyard, Jr. (Matlock; Walker, Texas Ranger; Die Hard) and Harrison Stone (Mercy Street). Pampa is one of fourteen cities chosen for the launch of this film.

The creative team behind this movie, brothers Dave and Rich Cristiano, have directed and/or produced nearly twenty Christian films - including Me, You, - Us, Forever; The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry; Amazing Love - The Story of Hosea; and Remember the Goal - as well as a TV series called 7th Street Theater.

Proceeds go towards paying camp registrations for St. Paul’s entire youth group to attend Ceta Canyon Church Camp. Donations will also be accepted.
