Pampa teen Marcee Troxell is being recognized by Pampa Police Department for aiding them in a call to a elderly woman in need. According to Pampa PD’s Facebook page on May 15, the Pampa Police Department received a call of an elderly woman in need of help at Walmart. The post said Troxeel gave a good description of and the location of the woman in need. When the officers arrived, Troxell was still there with the woman and stayed with the officer to help answer questions. The caller didn’t leave until the call was handled. The caller was Marcee Troxell, a 16-year-old PHS student.  The post reads “According to Sgt. Nichol Johnson, Marcee showed ‘great maturity and compassion’ in helping this woman. Sgt. Johnson went on to note ‘she was one of many people at Walmart that day, but she is the one who stepped forward to help someone in need and not just walk by.’ Sgt. Johnson wanted to recognize Marcee. Marcee went to Pampa Police Department take a pic with Sgt. Johnson’s shift. She received a City of Pampa coin and a Pampa PD patch. Our patch says “warriors courage, servants heart”. Marcee exemplified both of these by having the courage to stop and a servants heart to stay and help. Pampa PD said in the post, “We are proud of her and recognize her as a Pampa Citizen who has done a good deed.” Pictured, from left are officer Shawnda Payne, Marcee Troxell, Sgt.
