Pampa reaches 32 cases of COVID-19

This evening the City of Pampa and Gray County were notified by the Texas Department of State Health Services of five (5) more positive cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in Gray County. These new positives bring our overall total of confirmed cases now to thirty -two (32) positives. 

All five (5) of these new cases are community related and all five (5) have been quarantined in their home. 

Once again this brings our overall total positives to thirty-two (32) with nine (9) of our thirty-two (32) confirmed by the State as recoveries. 

Earlier in the afternoon the City of Pampa and Gray County were notified by the Texas Department of State Health Services of two (2) more positive cases of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Gray County. These new positives bring our total now to twenty-seven (27) positive cases. 

Since these were transmitted within the prison system they are considered community related. 

These two cases bring the total number of offenders within the TDCJ that are COVID-19 positive to seven (7).
