A Florida man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Potter County on U.S. Highway 87.
At 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a 2017 Ford Van north on U.S. 87. A pedestrian, Erik Myers, 40, Kissimmee, Fla., was wearing dark-colored clothing and walked into the northbound lane of travel.
Because it was dark, the driver of the van did not see the pedestrian and struck the pedestrian.
The crash remains under investigation. Information may change, be corrected, or added based on the investigators findings.
