It was another week filled with great things at Pampa High School! Monday night our choirs serenaded a full house at FBC for their Fall Concert and rocked the house. Tuesday was our annual Basketball Boosters Pancake Supper. This is always an awesome endeavor and if you left hungry, shame on you. The cool of fall did nothing to stifle another hot streak from our Lady Harvester Volleyball team. Our young ladies swept Borger on Senior Night Tuesday and bested the Canyon Lady Eagles Saturday to secure a playoff spot and complete the season sweep of Canyon. Our volleyball district is arguably the toughest in the state with four of the eight teams being ranked in the top 25 in several polls before the year started (3 are currently in the top 10 of the Maxpreps state rankings). We are so proud of all Coach Wehrman and her ladies for all they’ve accomplished this season! Wednesday if you thought you could hear your heartbeat, don’t panic. That’s just the sound of dribbling from the Lady Harvesters Basketball team as they got to start practice for their season. Friday our football team traveled to Dumas and competed hard but came up just short of the Demons (winning in Dumas is a difficult feat). Our Debate team competed at WTAMU over Friday and Saturday and represented our PHS community well. We look forward to serving our community Monday at The Big Event and Trunk or Treat. It’s a great day to be a Harvester!
