Richard Dismuke, 73, of Pampa, passed away on January 16, 2022 in Amarillo.

Services will be 10:00 Friday, January 28, 2022 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Joel Osborne, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Richard was born May 19, 1948 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Albert and Kay Dismuke.  He attended schools and grew up in Canada, due to his father’s job with the pipeline.  Richard moved to Pampa in 1980. On July 17, 1981, he married Gay Paulette Shipley, she passed away on August 3, 2002.  He worked for various companies in the oilfield as an oilfield operator. When he was a young boy, he enjoyed boxing growing up, he also enjoyed fishing.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Wanda Gardner; 2 sons, Vernon Woodward and Norman Woodward; daughter-in-law, Terry Woodward; and a brother, Franklin Dismuke.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Regina LeBaron and Sheila Moody; 2 sons, Danny Dismuke and Wayne Woodward; daughter-in-law, Cindy Woodward; son-in-law, Curtis Keys; 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
