Rosa Maria Cervantes, 75, of Pampa passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 in Pampa.
Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jose Luis Cervantes, son, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel.
Mrs. Cervantes as born on September 14, 1946 in Chihuahua, Mexico. Rosa married Jose Cervantes on October 12, 1969 in Mexico. He preceded her in death in 2012. She enjoyed visiting with people about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rosa facilitated bible studies in homes around Pampa and was always doing God’s work. Rosa enjoyed making clothes for her children, family, and friends. She was a member of Peña de Restauración.
Rosa was also preceded in death by a son Rogelio Cervantes.
Survivors include her two sons, Jose Luis Cervantes and wife Maria of Pampa and Julio Cervantes of Pampa; her daughter, Rosie Cervantes of Pampa; two sisters, Agripina Venegas of Tijuana, Mexico and Socorro Venegas of Chihuahua, Mexico; a brother, Edmundo Venegas of El Paso; and 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
