Roy Jones, Jr. 65, of Pampa, passed away, January 25, 2022, at his home in Pampa with his wife by his side.

Celebration of life memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Full Armor Fellowship Church with Pastor Mike Carlisle, pastor, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Roy was born on October 15, 1956, in Brownwood to Mabel and Roy Jones, Sr. As a young man, Roy worked and lived in various places in the United States. Roy was a talented man who loved to work with his hands whether it was within his long-time occupation of construction and painting or in his personal life. Roy took a lot of pride when it came to his career in painting and looked over every little detail. In his 50’s he chose to step out and try something new when went to culinary school and later becoming a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef.

Roy met Audrey Cannon on 2007 and they have spent those last years together and they married on January 24, 2022, a day before he passed away. Roy enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and having a cold beer when he could. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Terri Dees, and Tina Hamby; a brother, Marvin Ray McCulloch.

His survivors include his wife, Audrey Cannon Jones of the home; sons, Tommy Foust, Marc Anthony Mustrud, Kasey Jones, and James Jones; daughters, Jennifer Marie Jones, Barbara Sue Jones, and Lori Ann Jones; sisters, Toni Jackson, Sue Anderson, Barbara Hejl and husband Bobby; 2 brothers, Bill Jones, and Robert Dees; five grandchildren; and by other extended family.
