Steven Ray “Stevie” Crawford, Jr

Steven Ray “Stevie” Crawford, Jr., 42 years old, of Colchester, Vermont, formerly of Pampa, unexpectedly left this life to spend eternity with his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 2, 2021, in Burlington, Vermont.  He was born on July 15, 1978, to Steven Crawford, Sr. and Lynn Free Miller in Pampa, Texas.

Being quite an outdoorsman, two of Stevie’s favorite past times were riding motorcycles and snow skiing.  Both of which are open to the elements, invigorating, and give a sense of freedom that he so appreciated.  On the other hand, he also enjoyed the laid back, easy going pace of camping out and fishing.  He knew no strangers, nor did he have any fear.  Stevie was just a good-hearted guy and would help anyone that he could…even give his last dollar to a stranger if he knew they needed it.  He respected the lessons his grandparents taught him as a youngster and was still trying to apply them to his life as a grownup.  Stevie was a God-fearing man who loved his momma and wasn’t ashamed to admit it.  He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.

Those he joined in eternity are his grandparents; Billy Ray and Maylene Free, Bob and Helen Crawford, Doris Jean Puckett and Junior Payne.

Stevie leaves behind to mourn him, his mother and stepfather, Lynn Miller and husband Marland of Pampa; father and stepmother, Steven Crawford and wife LaVeda of Lipan; his very special love with whom he had so many plans, Brandie Pacheco of Colchester, Vermont; daughters, Ashley Crawford and Emily Crawford of Texas; brother, Christian Crawford of Lipan; sisters, Sunny Lynn Wilson and husband Gabe of Waupaca, WI, Keisha Howerton and husband Brad of Lake Dallas, NiKea Johnston and husband Jimmy of Las Vegas; grandmother, Barbara Payne of Quitaque and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews as well as cousins.

He will be available to pay last respects on Thursday, July 8th from 1pm until 8pm at Winegeart Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Funeral Services are scheduled for 10am, Friday, July 9, 2021, at The Carpenter’s Church, 639 South Barnes Street, Pampa, TX 79065 with Brother Jim Sinyard officiating.  In honoring Stevie’s wishes, cremation will follow services.  The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Winegeart Funeral Home.
