Terry Lee Moore, age 65, passed away on February 11, 2022, in Rincón, Puerto Rico. Terry was born February 27, 1956 in Odessa, TX and graduated from Pampa High School in 1974. While attending Pampa High School, Terry played football for the Pampa Harvesters and was a member of Who’s Who Among American High School Students. Terry attended Texas Tech University and began a career in telecommunications in 1977 with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, continuing his loyal service with AT&T for 42 years. Terry was a longtime resident of Arlington, TX and relocated to Rincón, Puerto Rico in 2019. In his spare time, Terry enjoyed gardening and spending time with his many friends.
Terry is survived by his 2 sons, T. J. Moore (Nikki) of Arlington, TX and Leo A. Moore (Samantha) of Fort Worth, TX; his sister, Kim Mitchell (Darrel) of Duncan, OK; niece, Jennifer Hinds of Fort Worth, TX; 1 uncle; 5 grandchildren; many cousins; and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Dolores Moore; and his brother, Ricky L. Moore.
At Terry’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. The family wishes to thank the many friends who dedicated a beautiful evening sunset in Rincón to Terry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Heart Association.
