Tommy Dean Shaw, 64 years of age, of Pampa, was called home on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in Amarillo.  He was born on November 26, 1955 to Kenneth and Claudine Shaw in Poteau, Oklahoma.

Tommy married Kelly Beckner on February 7, 1986 in Amarillo and in 1996, they moved to Pampa.  His highest priorities in life were to serve the Lord, read his bible faithfully, pray for his family, children, and friends.  Seeing that they were blessed gifts from God, he cherished his kids and grandkids and valued any time he was able to spend with them.  He was a true man of faith and it was very evident in his desire to serve and help others.  He attended Bible Baptist Church and served in the prison ministry as well.

Being an achiever and a man of action, he never sat idle for long.  For the most part, he maintained two jobs, even after he was forced into retirement due to medical reasons, Tommy worked at two churches to stay busy.  In his efforts to occupy his time, he found a hobby in “junking” or collecting things whether it be flea markets, garage sales, or auctions. Tommy stumbled upon many “treasures”, which in turn, provided plenty tinkering projects.

His family and friends will dearly miss the jokes, laughter and most importantly, the time spent with him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Shaw and a baby girl Shaw.

Those he leaves behind are his wife, Kelly Shaw of Pampa; three sons, Charles Shaw of Keota, OK, Justin Fuqua and wife Amber of White Deer, Michael Shaw and wife Mikki of Cocoa, FL; daughter, Chyana Bridgeman and husband William of Lefors; two brothers, Richard Shaw and wife Mary of Poteau, OK, Clyde Shaw and wife Teresa of Paris, AR, two sisters, Jean Harris of Cameron, OK, Diane Shaw of Spiro, OK; thirteen grandchildren, Kaden, Malie, Helton, Bryson, Laykon, Remi, Lilly, Mia, Brazos, Austin, Adalynn, Ayden, Ayson and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends at the home, 309 N. Banks, Pampa.

Celebration of Life Memorial services are scheduled for 11 am, Friday, November 20, 2020 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Hudson officiating and Pastor Bob Hudson assisting.  The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.

Should donations be a preference, they may be made to either Bible Baptist Church, 500 E. Kingsmill Avenue, Pampa, Texas 79065 or to the Shaw Family, 309 N. Banks Street, Pampa, Texas 79065 in memory of Tommy.
