Vincent Dale Hillman was born to Elizabeth and Donald Hillman on November 12th, 1960. He made his journey home on September 15th, 2021. 

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Rosary will be 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 732 N. Nelson, Pampa, TX, 79065.

Vincent attended Pampa High School and graduated with the class of 1979. He was a member of the Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus for a number of years. Vincent worked at the Pampa Ford House for over 15 years, after which he attended Amarillo College for Aviation and Mechanics and graduated in 2003. Vincent then worked at L3 Technologies in Greenville, TX before he retired to enjoy his hobbies and spend treasured time with his family. 

Vincent loved working with his hands and found joy in woodworking, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Vincent was also an avid reader and a talented storyteller himself. Those who knew Vincent know that he always had a good story to share. 

As the sixth of seven children, Vincent’s wild sense of humor, love of family, and appreciation for the cadence of a good story was forged early on. Having never met a stranger, Vincent built meaningful friendships throughout every chapter of his life and touched the lives of so many. A devoted husband, Vincent and his wife Melinda shared a beautiful and romantic love story for over 37 years. Vincent’s legacy continues on with their three children, grandchildren, family, and friends who all, without a doubt, have one hell of a story they’ve shared with Vince. 

Vincent was preceded in death by his wife ,Melinda Hillman; and his parents, Elizabeth and Donald Hillman.

He is survived by his three children, Jason Hillman and wife Melissa, Emily Nadeau and husband Chris, and Anna Hillman; three grandchildren, Tyson and Travis Hillman, and Teddy Nadeau; six siblings, Marian Dawes and husband Henry, Marcia Coker and husband Doyle, Donna Craig, Beth Johnston and husband Joe, Lester Hillman and wife Teresa, Martin Hillman and wife Marianne; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
