Wanda Roland, 89, of Pampa, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Pampa. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, January 23, 2023 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Buck, Redeemer Pampa Church, officiating.
Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Wanda was born September 4, 1933 in Canadian, Texas to Elzy and Laura Roberts. She graduated from Perryton High School in 1951. Wanda married Bobby Roland on January 30, 1960 and he passed away on July 29, 1975. She lived in Pampa since 1960 and worked for Outreach Home Health for 14 years before she retired. Wanda later married John Brookshire. She enjoyed watching old classic movies and going to the casinos. Wanda loved to have all of her family together. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Cheryl Tubbs and Gwen Norris.
Survivors include her son, Darrell Roland and Regina Maxwell of Pampa; a sister, Pat Beasore and husband Ron of Dallas; two grandchildren, Tonya Rohret and husband Josh of Houston and Chris Tubbs and wife Jenny of Amarillo; three great grandchildren, Austin James Rohret, Kate Evelyn Rohret, and Aaron Tubbs.
