The structure fire over the weekend that was featured in Tuesday’s edition of The Pampa News was reportedly to conduct controlled training scenarios.
Hoover Volunteer Fire Department lietenant Johnny Goodson, who also owns the property, said the structure was used to conduct controlled scenarios throughout the morning with the intention to have it burned to the ground by the end of the day.
Goodson also Hoover Volunteer Fire Department also used safety and protection of the neighborhood and their members with the top priority of their operations during the exercise and executed perfectly.
