What’s more American than grilling (regardless of the time of year when you live in Texas)?
Wiskey Grills is giving away a Smokin’ Brothers pellet grill, valued at $1,299 to someone who has served this country that has given us that very red-blooded, American right.
“The company (Smokin’ Brothers) does one at a national level where you go on their website where you nominate a veteran or active-duty member,” Wiskey Grills owner Rich Wiskey said. “They do that in Missouri and will draw for the United States. At the dealer level, like me, they do the same thing and we are doing the same thing.”
Those interested simply need to go into Wiskey Grills at 1421 N. Hobart, and fill out the card to nominate a veteran or active service member. Wiskey Grills will deliver the winning grill as long as it’s within a 30-mile radius of Pampa, but there is no distance limit to who can be nominated.
The drawing for the grill will be held on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11. Being a veteran himself, Wiskey said he wanted to give back to other veterans who came before and after him.
“I’m a veteran, so that’s the first and foremost,” Wiskey said. “It’s about being able to help another veteran out.”
