It is with unimaginable sorrow and endless love that we share the passing of our beloved Angel J. Chavez, who entered this world on May 8, 2012, and left it far too soon on April 30, 2025. In his nearly 13 years with us, Angel lived a life full of warmth, wonder, and wholehearted love — a life that touched more hearts than can be counted.
Angel was the kind of child whose name matched his soul. He had the biggest heart, always ready with a hug, a helping hand, or a smile that could light up even the heaviest of days. Whether he was playing soccer with unmatched passion, filling the air with music from his tuba, or racing across fields on four-wheelers, razors, or horseback, Angel brought joy and laughter everywhere he went.
Some of his happiest moments were spent on the family farm, where the simple things — dirt roads, open skies, and the laughter of friends and loved ones — meant everything to him. He lived for adventure, but it was his gentle spirit, deep kindness, and boundless love that made him unforgettable.
Angel was bright beyond his years, excelling in school and always curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn. But it was the way he loved — deeply, selflessly, and unconditionally — that defined who he truly was.
A devoted and faithful soul, Angel was active in the Catholic Church, where he found peace, purpose, and a place to grow in his faith. He carried those values into every part of his life, living with humility, grace, and love.
Though our time with Angel was heartbreakingly short, the love he gave — and the love we feel for him — is eternal. He was our sunshine, our laughter, our light. His absence leaves an ache that words cannot heal, but his memory will guide us forever.
Angel, you were so very loved. You always will be.
