Anna Catharine Gasparotti-Felter, 97, of Kennesaw, Georgia, previously of Pampa, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, in Kennesaw, Georgia.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Mark Lang, rector, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Anna was born on April 15, 1925, in Moberly, Missouri to Elizabeth and John Joseph Gasparotti. She attended schools in Moberly and graduated in 1943. After high school, she attended New Mexico University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology in 1947. Once she graduated college she worked as a medical technologist for some time. On June 5, 1947, Anna married her best friend, William Jefferson Felter. The two were married for 49 wonderful years and had two girls and one boy together.

In 1954, Anna and her family moved to Pampa. In Pampa, she took on several different jobs, which included serving as a leader of the Girl Scouts and teaching students how to decorate cakes at the Pampa branch of Clarendon College. Later in life, Anna had the most fun raising her little Westie show dogs. They brought her so much joy, and she loved to talk about them with her family and friends. Anna was a special lady who will be greatly missed.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Jefferson Felter; her son, William “Bill” Felter; three brothers, John J. Gasparotti, Richard Gasparotti, and Paul Gasparotti.

She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Patterson of Canton, Georgia, and Betty Rainey of Pampa; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members.
