Belinda Cowan, 60, of Pampa, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in Amarillo.

Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jamisen Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Belinda was born on January 8, 1962, in Lubbock, Texas to Henry and Mary Cordle. She attended schools in Lubbock and Friona, graduating in 1980. After high school, Belinda was a jack of all trades. She was a housewife for many years. She was also a photographer, car salesman, plumber, and security officer. Most recently, Belinda worked as night security at the Phillips Refinery in Borger.

When Belinda wasn’t working, she had many things she liked to do. She loved to fish, hunt, garden, dance, listen to music, and spend time with her family. She was completely dedicated to whatever she set out to accomplish and did it to the best of her ability. Belinda was strong-willed and full of life. She was an incredible woman and will be missed by all of her friends and family.

Belinda in preceded in death by her parents and her uncle, Charlie Cordle.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Cowan of the home; four daughters, Kimberly Van Damme of Amarillo, Stephanie Dunn of Huntsville, Melissa Cook and husband Richard of Pampa, and Danielle Brock and Michelle Pena of El Paso; two step-sons, Robert Cowan and wife Cynthia of Pampa, and Daniel Cowan of Idaho; fourteen grandkids, Autumn Captain, Austin Captain, Vanise Dunn, Zackary Dunn, Nikki Dunn, Justin Cook, Chase Cook, Dunia Cook, Korbin Cook, MaKaylia Hazen and fiancé Tanner Mathias, Levi Hicks, Kyler Cowan, Mckennli Landry, and Paige Landry; one great-grandkid and one on the way; and one brother, Charles Cordle.
