Billy Rex Estep, resident of Jones, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was 86 years old. Bill was born on February 10, 1937 in Fittstown, Oklahoma to his parents, Johnie William Estep and Izetta C. (Butler) Estep. Bill grew up in the Prague and Shawnee areas. After high school graduation, Bill joined the United States Air Force. Bill served his country for 12 years before being honorably discharged. He went to work for Tinker AFB as a sheet metal worker and retired after 11 years. Following his retirement, Bill worked for John Deere and The Ford Company.

Bill married Clella Estep on January 3, 2014 in Shawnee. The pair loved to dance and listen to country western music. Bill had a great love for horses and dogs. He enjoyed woodworking, leatherwork, and painting. Bill also loved John Wayne and had quite a collection of memorabilia.

 Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Johnie and Izetta Estep, son, Bruce Estep, two sisters, Betty Estep and Elaine Maynard, and grandson, Carder Tate Brown.

 Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Clella Estep of Jones, OK; daughters, Christie Eads and husband Eldon of Pampa, TX and Melodie Flemming and husband Art; sons, Terry Estep and wife Karen of Fayetteville, NC and Tony Estep and wife Carrie of Amarillo, TX; daughter, Gail Whitley and husband David of Borger, TX; sisters, Jan Hankins of Shawnee, OK, Leta Abel of Shawnee, OK, and Lela Rutledge-Clark of Shawnee; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

 Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm with family present to greet friends from 5-7pm. A funeral ceremony for Bill will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 17, 2023 at the Walker Funeral Chapel in Shawnee. Following the ceremony, Bill will be laid to rest with military honors at Little Cemetery.

 Casketbearers will be: Eldon Eads, Ron Degraffenried, Terry Estep, Ron Dargel, Tyrel Bolin, and Kevin Quart.

 Honorary Casketbearers will be: Terry Vance, Donnie Gibson, and Roger McLeroy.
