Brenda Joyce Frazier, aged 74, of Pampa, Texas, departed this life with grace and serenity on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Amarillo.

Born to Billy Joe and Thelma Johnson on May 11, 1951, Brenda was a lifelong resident of Pampa, where she grew up, attended school, and graduated with the class of 1969 from Pampa High School. Her close-knit relationships with her classmates remained a cherished part of her life.

Shortly after graduation, Brenda married her sweetheart, William Bob Frazier, on June 2, 1969. Although their union ended after 25 years, they were richly blessed with two treasured daughters, Angela and Amy. Her journey through life was persistent dedication and an unwavering work ethic. She supported Bob in launching ABC Rental and managed Maurices during its years in the mall. Ultimately, Brenda discovered her calling as a car saleswoman, working at the Ford House, Culberson- Stowers, and finally settling at Gene Messer, where she retired after an impressive 33-years. So many in the community remember their interactions with Brenda while searching for a new car, her genuine warmth leaving a lasting impression.

Retirement didn’t slow Brenda’s spirit. She found a new outlet for her creative energy and love for people by helping part-time at B & G Floral, assisting Angela and her team for the past four years. Brenda’s passion for life extended beyond her career— in her younger years, she was an exceptional racquetball player and even in her adult years she enjoyed both water and snow skiing. Brenda loved shopping, going to the lake, and traveling. It didn’t matter whether it be to the mountains or the beach – just where she could relax and enjoy the fresh air leaving stress behind – or hitting garage sales!

Brenda’s home was a reflection of her creative flair, evolving through themes from white geese donning a blue ribbon to a cozy log cabin lodge. Her commitment to her interests was absolute, and she poured her whole heart into every bit of it. Stubborn yet endearing, Brenda inherited her strong will from the Johnson side of her family. She radiated friendliness, never meeting a stranger and always willing to lend an ear or a smile.

Family was the anchor of Brenda’s life. She adored her grandchildren and delighted in special “girl spa nights” and baking cookies with her granddaughters, creating joyful memories that will be cherished for generations. Her love was big, her presence unforgettable, and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she graced.

Brenda is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved parents, Billy Joe and Thelma Johnson, and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson.

Her legacy continues through her daughters, Angela Porter and husband Chris, Amy Sutherland and husband Noah all of Pampa; three brothers, Jimmy Johnson and Jody Johnson both of Pampa, and Gail Martin of Midland Odessa; five grandchildren, Bradey Porter, Emiley Porter, Abigail Porter, Zane Sutherland, Sierra Lilley and husband Jeratt; Aunt Kate Casity and cousin Michelle Gaal of California; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Honoring Brenda’s wishes, there will be no viewing. The family will receive guests during a Visitation on Thursday, February 19 th from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Serenity Chapel at Winegeart Funeral Home.

Celebration of Life Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 20, 2026, in the Serenity Chapel at Winegeart Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Jeremy Buck. Burial will follow immediately at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
