Connie Lynn Samples, 75, passed away on March 17, 2026, in Plano, Texas.
Born on May 6, 1950, Connie lived in Pampa, Texas; St. Joseph, Missouri; and later Plano, Texas. She spent many years working in sales and retail, where she especially loved her time in party stores. Balloons, celebrations, and helping people create special moments brought her joy, and she had a natural gift for making people feel welcome and cared for.
Connie attended Pampa High School, where she excelled in athletics and placed third in the state in the 100-yard dash. She later completed training in medical technology and professional sales.
She is survived by her son, Aaron, and his spouse, Kelley; her daughter, Cassi, and her spouse, Jeff; her grandchildren, Avery, Ella, Travis, and Zander; her great-grandchildren, Atlas, Hendrix, and Stetson; and her sisters, Donna and Elise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Samples.
Connie did things her own way—with her Winstons, a White Russian, and her beloved dog, Cricket.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas, where Connie will be laid to rest alongside her family.
