After nearly 15 years of experience in the oil and gas compression industry, Mr. Abshire purchased Midwest Compressor Systems LLC, in Pampa, Texas, with his wife, Christina, in 2020. Midwest Compressor offers several types of compression and compressor packages, as well as parts. The mission of Midwest Compressor is to provide compressors that are safe, effective and easy to operate, along with a team to support the customers’ goals.
Mr. Abshire, originally from Chickasha, OK, credits his hands-on experience in the field to his success today. He worked as a mechanic and director of parts sales before earning promotion to the role of vice president with a natural gas company.
Since the purchase of Midwest Compressor a year ago, the company has grown. Mr. Abshire hopes to expand the scope of Midwest Compressor Systems LLC to all oil and gas basins throughout the U.S. A
dedicated community advocate, Mr. Abshire enjoys participating in local events, and has served as a board member and coach for the Pampa Soccer Association.
