District Court Filings

The following cases were recently filed in the 223rd Judicial District Court of Gray County:

• In a judgment adjudicating guilt, Pedro Arturo Castillo was sentenced to four years institutional division for deadly conduct/discharging a firearm. Castillo also had similar sentencings for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (x2). All sentencings to run concurrently.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Laura Katherine Pulse was sentenced to 11 months state jail division for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Brittany Nicole Hearron was sentenced to 10 years institutional division for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily injury (two sentencings to be served concurrently).

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Rolando Augusto Morales was sentenced to 10 years institutional division for driving while intoxicated- third or more.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Karl Gene Eubanks was sentenced to 25 years institutional division for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group one greater than/equal to four grams and less than 200 grams. Eubanks was also sentenced to eight years institutional division for continuous trafficking of persons. The sentencings will be served concurrently.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Victor Manuel Soto was sentenced to 180 days state jail division for credit/debit card abuse.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Gilberto Gonzalez was placed on community supervision for seven years for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent of sever bodily injury or mental injury. Gonzalez was also placed on community supervision for seven years for continuous violence against the family. These punishments will be served concurrently.

• In a judgment adjudicating guilt, Miles Jacob Markley was sentenced to four years institutional division for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily injury.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Juan Antonio Moreno was sentenced to 185 days in state jail division for unauthorized use of a vehicle. Moreno was also sentenced to 185 days state jail division for theft of property greater than/equal to $2,500 and less than $30,000. These punishments will be served concurrently.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Kodie Wayne King was sentenced to 180 days in state jail division for burglary of a building. King was also sentenced to 180 days for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram. These punishments will be served concurrently.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Jesus Rodriguez was sentenced to 10 years institutional division for obstruction or retaliation.
