God Bless The Thankful On Memorial Day

Posted

I’m writing this on Memorial Day morning, 6:23am, 5-30-22. I was blessed again by my time this morning at our Veteran’s Memorial. The wall, the names, the sacrifice, the bricks, the names, the sacrifice, the flag at half staff, the breeze stroking the flag, the quiet at 5:15am, the LORD’s presence. Over the years, I have never been disappointed with my time at the Memorial in the early morning hours of Memorial Day. So the first purpose of this article is to say once again say THANK YOU to everyone who dreamed, planned and built our Veteran’s Memorial. You have blessed me so much and I am asking God to bless you and your family.

The next purpose of these words is to say THANK YOU to everyone who at some time on Memorial Day, made the time to visit the Memorial and say THANK YOU to those from Gray County who sacrificed their lives for our freedom and to pray for their families who lost them. THANK YOU for being thankful and grateful. Thankfulness and gratitude are among the most important characteristics needed in America today. You proved that you are a member of the T&G crowd. God bless you for that and God bless your family too.

And finally, and most importantly, THANK YOU, FATHER GOD for blessing America over the past two and a half centuries. You have blessed our country far, far beyond our deserving. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. To You goes all the glory for anything good America has ever accomplished.
