DUMAS - The Pampa Hustlin’ Harvesters outlasted the Dumas Demons 45-43 on Saturday afternoon. After being out-scored 21-10 in the first quarter, the Harvesters outscored the Demons 35-22 to close out and take the 45-43 win at Dumas.

“Winning on the road in Dumas was huge for us,” Head Coach Braydon Barker said. “Already having two road wins in our first five district games is massive. Dumas had already beaten Canyon the week before, so I was really proud of our team going into a hostile environment and coming out on top.”

Senior Isaiah Fernandez had 17 points with three three-pointers, two rebounds, three deflections, a steal, and went 6-11 from the free throw line; Junior Dalton Booth had nine points, five rebounds, three assists, one deflection, two assists, and went 3-5 in free throws; Junior Parker Webb had eight points, six rebounds, one steal, and went 2-2 in free throws; Junior Tristan Bagwell had four points, two rebounds, and one steal; Senior Julian Alonzo had four points, four rebounds, a deflection, and one steal; Senior Bryce Lynn had four points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal; Junior Jose Alonzo had nine rebounds, four assists, three deflections, and one steal.

Fernandez came off the bench in his season debut and provided a spark for the Harvesters.

“This was Isaiah’s season debut,” Barker said. “He is going to be a very good player coming off the bench for us the rest of the way. He brings valuable varsity experience, and he is always calm and under control.”

The Harvesters returned to action on Tuesday when they traveled to Canyon.

“Canyon is always solid,” Barker said. “They are not near as big as they have been the last few years. It would be really big for us to steal another one on the road finishing up the first half of district this week.”
