Kenneth Dale “Husky” Morrow went to be with our Lord Friday, November 11,2022.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Decatur with burial at Wizard Wells Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Pallbearers include Jim Henderson, Pete Henderson, Porky Jones, Leo Marley, Andy Spencer, Jerome Christian, Lewis Christian, and Charlie East. Honorary pallbearers include the Greenwood Masonic Lodge.

Husky was born May 28, 1952 to James Cecil and Flodell (Cook) Morrow in Jacksboro, Texas. He was united in marriage on December 20, 1992 to Jan Pepper Nichols in Pampa, Texas. Husky graduated from Jacksboro High School and was a Baptist. Husky worked for Boyd Industries for 21 years before beginning his own business Morrow Construction in 1992. He was a faithful member of the Boyd Masonic Lodge #479 and Greenwood #779. and various appendant bodies where he held many offices since 1988. Husky also was a Past Patron of Order of the Eastern Star at Boyd and Decatur, as well as a member of the Gainesville O.E.S. Husky served on the board of the Crimestoppers since 1992. Husky served on the Decatur FFA Advisory Committee. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Morrow and Flo Pierce.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years Jan Morrow of Decatur: his sons, J.W. Morrow and wife Jennifer of North Richland Hills Matt Nichols and his wife Amber of Corsicana; his daughter, Melissa Morrow; granddaughters Zoey Morrow of Bryson, Nioka Morrow of North Richland Hills, Callie Forbus; grandsons Tripp Nichols of Corsicana, Jacob Morrow of North Richland Hills, Justin Morrow, and Tyson Morrow; his sister Jenell May and husband Larry Gene of Jacksboro; brother-in-law Jim Pepper of Pampa; great grandsons, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Husky’s name to The Scottish Rite Hospital.
