Coming off a sweep of Caprock and Bushland on Saturday, the Lady Harvesters would travel to Bushland for a rematch in their final tune-up before district play starts next week.
On Tuesday, Bushland would avenge their loss to Pampa in a big way with a 21-4 victory.
Pampa would score first in the top of the 1st when Carsyn Hunt led off with an infield single. With one out Maecie Hawthorne narrowly missed a home run, and settled for a double putting runners at second and third. Briley Daniels would then double, scoring both Carsyn and Maecie.
However, Bushland would score nine runs in the bottom of the first, three in the second, four in the third, two in the fourth and three in the fifth to seal the game.
Pampa would add a run in the second on an infield single off the the bat of McKinley Daniels scoring Ella Hudson. In the fifth, Kassie Arnzen hit her first career home, a solo shot, for Pampa’s final run.
Carsyn Hunt was the leading hitter for Pampa going 2-3. Also adding hits for Pampa was McKinley Daniels, Maecie Hawthorne, Briley Daniels, Kassie Arnzen, Cambree Dyer and Michelle Gallegos.
Pampa will play Canyon at Lady Harvester field on Tuesday March 4 at 4:30 to open district play.
