The Lady Harvesters continued their district downfall against the Hereford Whitefaces on Saturday, September 16th. Already 0-2 having lost to both Westplains and Randall, the Harvesters walked into this game hoping to lock down their first victory of district play.
However, that was not the case for the Lady Harvesters as they fell once again to the Whitefaces 3-0, losing each set 18-25, 20-25, and 24-26. However, this was not without some glimpses of progress for the Harvesters. “During Saturday’s match, the girls showed some great moments of grit.” Says Head Coach Kashwer. “The girls showed they can compete with a team that has always been at the top of our district.”
Needless to say, the players along with Coach Kashwer are keeping their heads up and their mind right as they prepare for Perryton on Tuesday. When asked about the keys to win, Coach Kashwer said, “We need to play our style of play and learn from the mistakes we made against Hereford, so we continue to grow through our district.”

Mazi Smith had 15 kills, and ten digs. Maecie Hawthorne had 17 assists and 15 digs.
Carsyn Hunt had 21 digs. Emma Perry had 8 assists and Jolie Groomer had 5 kills.
Combined the team had 6 team blocks, 3 aces, and 70 digs.
