The Pampa Lady Harvesters (18-14, 2-4) wrap up the first round of District play on Tuesday when they host Canyon for Camo Night at McNeely Fieldhouse.
The Lady Harvesters are coming off a loss at Dumas Saturday that saw the squad get swept by the Demonettes (25-19, 25-15, 25-10).
“We have struggled this season playing on Saturdays,” Head Coach Kaylee Samulowitz said. “We had a hard time playing with energy, which I feel like led to a lower level of play and eventually a loss. Hopefully we can get back to playing like us for Tuesday night’s game.”
The Lady Harvesters are led at libero by Junior Myla Zarate. Zarate had eight digs in Saturday’s match.
“Myla has been great for us in the libero jersey so far this year,” Samulowitz said. “She is such a levelheaded athlete who can take tough coaching and will do whatever is asked of her. She is a tough kid and so much fun to coach. I am proud of her efforts this season and looking forward to how she will continue to improve.”

The Lady Harvesters will host Canyon tonight to wrap up the first round of District. Game time is after JV at about 7 p.m.
“We have had a few tough losses in the first round, so I’m hoping we get some momentum back tonight and then pick up some extra wins in Round 2.” Samulowitz said.
