Did you know there is another upcoming election? There is!!!
On Tuesday, May 24, the citizens of Pampa and Gray County have the opportunity to vote again! This election is the Run-off for candidates from the Primary Election in March. The Republican ballot is for Attorney General, Commissioner of the General Land Office, and Railroad Commissioner.
Voter turnout is often very low in primary elections and even lower in run-off elections. Only 18% of registered voters in Texas voted in the March 2022 primary. Please vote in the run-off!
This election is for races that did not have a majority winner during the March 1 primary election. The winners from each party will advance to the November general election.
Numbers really matter in an election, and can make a difference when selecting candidates who support issues that have an impact affecting you, your neighbors, and your community.
The Run-off Election will be held at MK Brown Auditorium on Tuesday, May 24th, from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Please get out and exercise your civic responsibility and privilege to vote next Tuesday to decide the winners for the three offices on the ballot.
