Linda Syfrett, 75, of McLean, Texas peacefully passed away and woke up in the arms of Jesus, on June 2, 2025.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Trinity Church McLean, with Pastor Clay Reynolds, officiating. No viewing is scheduled.
Cremation & Arrangements are under the care of Robertson Funeral Directors of McLean.
Linda was born in Westminster, California on March 6, 1950, and placed in the loving arms of her devoted parents, Elsie and Clarence Morilla. After spending some of her young life in Saudi Arabia, the family settled back in Westminster.
While in High School, Linda met Jack Syfrett, who would soon become her soul-mate and the love of her life. She married Jack on December 15, 1970. Soon Jack was deployed with the US Navy and Linda began her life as a military wife.
In 1974, the couple welcomed their first child, Heidi. In 1980, Linda and Jack packed up their family,, including Linda’s mom, and moved to McLean to be close to Linda’s Grandmother.
16 years after their first bundle of joy, Linda and Jack welcomed their second miracle Tammy.
Linda grew many friendships through her 25 years as the manager of the Taylor Food Mart in McLean. After retirement, she became involved with Joseph’s house ministry through Trinity Church as well cooking for the kids on Wednesday nights. Both of these ministries she loved with all her heart.
In 2019, after losing her soul-mate Jack, Linda decided to fulfill the dream they had shared and discussed often. She began to enjoy going on cruises and spend time on her beloved ocean with her best friend, Debi Stone. Linda always said Debi was the “Salt to my Peppa”
Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack, both parents, Elsie “Ginger” & Clarence Morilla and brother, Gilman Morilla. She was also greeted in heaven by many aunts, uncles, cousins and Grandparents.
Linda is survived by her Daughter, Heidi Tennison and husband Steve, of Levelland; daughter Tammy Lee and husband Jeff of McLean; grandchildren Daniel Tennison and fiance Alexis of Levelland; David Tennison of Lubbock; Gabrielle Hontz and husband Samuel of Lubbock; Izaak Lee of McLean; Joshua Lee of Dallas; Kimi Lee of McLean; sister Nonie Morilla of Orange County, California and her two fur babies who meant the world to her. Nieces, nephews and fur-grandbabies, whom she loved dearly.
