Lois Marie Minnick, 83, of Pampa, passed way at her home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 3, 2022 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Rushing, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Lois was born in Lefors to John and Myrtle Willis. She attended school at and graduated from Pampa High School. Lois married Donnie Eugene Minnick and together they shared 67 years of marriage, and raised two children, Donna Minnick and Ronnie Minnick. Throughout her life she was known for her patience, compassion, and most definitely her artistry. She developed her skills over the years and even entered many art competitions for her vivid paintings of landscape, flowers, and animals, specifically her beloved chickens. Lois was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Pampa Fine Arts Association. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the opportunity to meet her. Lois will always be remembered for the positive impact she made on all the lives she touched and for her uncanny love of fresh garden spearmint.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don Minnick; two sisters, Geraldine Gray and Gwen Scott; son, Ronnie Minnick and wife Doris; daughter, Donna Minnick; granddaughters, Juliana Minnick and Lori Ford; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
