A three-vehicle crash on State Highway 152 Saturday evening killed a 76-year-old woman and injured three children from Pampa.

According to Texas DPS, a 2006 Ford Mustang driven by a 16-year-old male from Pampa was driving east on SH 152. A 2001 Dodge Caravan, driven by 76-year-old Sharon Williams from Pampa, was stopped on SH 152 facing east waiting for the westbound traffic to pass so the driver could make a left turn onto County Road 2.

A 2007 Buick Lacerne driven by Gay Forsha, 56, Borger, was traveling west on SH 152.

The driver of the Mustang was distracted in the vehicle and did not see the Dodge Caravan stopped ahead and crashed into its rear.

The impact from the crash caused the Caravan to travel into the westbound lane and into the path of the Buick. The two vehicles then collided head-on in the westbound lane.

The Buick then crashed into a utility pole and came to rest in the north barrow ditch facing north. The Caravan came to rest in the north barrow ditch facing southeast. The Mustang came to rest in the eastbound lane and caught fire.

Williams was transported by Life Star to Amarillo Northwest Texas Hospital with life-threatening injuries where she died on Sunday, Nov. 22.

Her passengers, a 13-year-old male and nine-year-old female, were transported by ambulance to Pampa Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released. A 10-year-old passenger was transported by ambulance to Amarillo Northwest Texas Hospital with serious injuries.

Gray was transported to PRMC by ambulance with serious injuries. The 16-year-old was not injured.

All parties were wearing their seatbelts.

The crash remains under investigation by Texas DPS. Information may change, be corrected, or added based on the investigators findings.
