Ralph Lee, 85 years old, of Pampa, Texas, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, joining cherished loved ones in eternal rest.
Born April 3, 1940, in Overton, Texas, he was the beloved son of Mott and Lillie Mae Lee. In 1957, Ralph’s family moved from Kilgore to Pampa in pursuit of new opportunities on a cotton farm. Settling in Pampa, Ralph made it his lifelong home, dedicating himself to years of honest labor as a handyman. His callused hands spoke to the dedication and work ethic he demonstrated throughout his life.
After a hard day’s work, Ralph found contentment in life’s simple pleasures—relaxing on his porch with a cold beer, exchanging greetings with neighbors, and enjoying his favorite television shows, particularly CSI, crime shows, and classic westerns. He was known for his minimalist lifestyle, never asking for more than pork skins, a pink drink, Vienna sausages, and his television to be truly happy.
Upon retirement, Ralph cherished his rest, and everyone knew not to disturb him before 10 a.m. His calm, humble demeanor was only rivaled by his quiet determination and stubbornness, traits that made him both reliable and steadfast.
He is reunited in peace with his parents, Mott and Lillie Mae Lee; and siblings, Roy Lee Dudley, Mae Nelvin Dudley, Dorothy Nell Dudley, and Annie Maud Fuller.
Ralph’s legacy lives on through those who survive him: his nephew, Johnnie Fuller of Pampa; great-nephews, Bryson Fuller and Joshua Fuller of Pampa; his sister, Pearlie Mae Rossum of Houston; and nieces, Kristie Fuller of Pampa, Peggy Devereaux, Bobbie Faye Moore, Deborah Redrick and Barbara Lynn.
In honoring Ralph’s wishes, no formal services are scheduled. Cremation care has been entrusted to Winegeart Funeral Home.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
