Rebecca Sue “Becky” Hilton-Mason, a beloved soul of 66 years, of Pampa, Texas, gracefully departed this world on Sunday, April 6th, 2025, to walk alongside Jesus on the golden streets of Heaven. Becky passed away peacefully at her home, enveloped in the comforting presence of loved ones.
Born on June 3, 1958, in Pampa to Jack Edward and Martha Hilton, Becky’s life was rooted in the love of her family.
Growing up in Pampa, she graduated from Pampa High School with the class of 1976 and then pursued her passion for art at Clarendon College, where she majored in the creative field that would inspire her throughout her life.
Becky’s dedication and hard work were evident in her long and fulfilling career in the food industry. She began her journey at Pizza Hut, where she dedicated 25 years and ultimately became an area manager. Her commitment then continued as she served as district manager for Dairy Queen restaurants in Amarillo before she embraced retirement.
Not one to rest, Becky launched her own ventures, Flowers by Becky and Frozen Fever Snow Cone, which she ran for about five years until her health necessitated a full retirement.
An avid doll collector, Becky’s collection boasted many vintage collector’s editions, a testament to her meticulous eye and discerning taste. Her love for arts and crafts blossomed into the creation of her flower business. Though not particularly fond of the outdoors, Becky cherished family camping trips, weaving countless threads of precious memories with her loved ones. Family meant everything to Becky, and she never missed an opportunity to spend quality time with her grandchildren. Whether playing board games, card games, Wahoo, or even digital games on her phone, each moment was a treasured memory for both her and the kids.
Becky found joy in watching the Hallmark channel and listening to country music, especially the songs of George Strait.
Her deep faith was evident in her devotion to the Lord, and she enjoyed worshipping at Full Armor Fellowship whenever her health allowed. Her favorite color was purple, a vibrant hue that mirrored her radiant personality. Known for her sheer determination, Becky was the epitome of a true go-getter. When she set her mind on a goal, she pursued it with unwavering resolve and excellence.
She married her best friend and true love, Dwain Mason, on April 17, 2023, in Pampa.
Becky’s joyful demeanor, infectious laughter, and steadfast determination will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
