With these new cases today our overall totals read like this: 1,687 total cases, 1,600 recoveries, 56 active cases, 31 COVID-19 deaths

The City of Pampa and Gray County fall under Trauma Service Area A. As of Thursday, Feb. 4, the number of hospitalized patients in Trauma Service Area A has now been below 15 percent for seven days. The attestation was filed and Gray County is approved to now open up at 75 percent, as well as bars are now allowed to reopen under GA32 guidelines.

Also as of Thursday, Feb 4, the City of Pampa and Gray County made the move to Level Orange on our COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Alert Level response. The City and Gray County had been at Level Red since Oct. 26, 2020.

The decrease in Alert Level is due to the declining number of positive COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases along with the hospitalization rate of less than 15 percent for seven consecutive days in Trauma Service Area A.

As always we continue to ask you to take all the necessary precautions to make sure you and your families are safe.
