Shirley Virginia Templeton Gist Clark of Pampa, TX, passed away on November 23, 2022 in Booker, Texas. A memorial graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Memory Gardens in Pampa, Texas. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton, Texas.
Shirley was born on May 16, 1936 to Oren and Stella Gist in Success, Arkansas. She married Tommy Clark on January 22, 1954. She graduated from Pampa High School. Shirley was a talented seamstress and quilter. She loved her yearly camping trips to her beloved Aspen Glade in Colorado, where she enjoyed summers with her children and grandchildren, a tradition which spanned over 60 years.
She is survived by two sons; Kim Clark and wife, Carol, of Saginaw, Texas and Darin Clark and wife, Tena, of Galveston, Texas; four grandchildren; Shawn and Anna Coker of Sherman, Texas, Ashley and Josh Rooker of Saginaw, Texas, Weston Clark and fiancée, Cecelia Murillo of Uvalde, Texas and Lindsay Clark of Amarillo, Texas; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Shirley Gist of Pampa, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Otis Gist and Jay Gist; and sister, Edna Wood.
