Terry Ward, 73, of Pampa, passed away, Friday, February 9, 2024 in Lubbock.
Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jamisen Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating.
Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.
Terry was born January 12, 1951 in Amarillo.
He graduated from Pampa High School in 1969.
Terry began working at Engine Parts in Pampa in 1976, he served as the manager for many years before he retired in 2001.
He was involved in Pampa Optimist Club for years as the equipment room manager and he also coached basketball and baseball.
Terry loved listening to music and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
His family has fond memories of him taking them to the park, fishing, sledding, and playing ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Norma Ward; and a sister-in-law, Tanya Ward.
Survivors include his daughter, Aubrea Ziegelgruber and husband Chad of Piedmont, Oklahoma; two sons, Zack Ward of Pampa and Dane Ward of Yukon, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Gavin Ward, Zane Ward, Boston Ziegelgruber, Delta Ziegelgruber, Presley Ward, and Jackson Ward; sister, Pam Little and husband Phil of Tennessee; brother, Mike Ward of Pampa; and numerous cousins which include Sharron Sanders, nieces and nephews.
