Timothy Stewart Bolding, 62, of White Deer, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 25, 2023 at First Baptist Church of White Deer with Brother Alan Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in White Deer Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory. The funeral service will be livestreamed through the church’s website at www.fbdwd.com

Timothy was born July 20, 1961 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Wilbur and JoAnn Bolding. He graduated from Huttig High School in Huttig, Arkansas in 1979. After high school, he spent a brief time at Louisianna Tech before entering into the energy industry. Tim began his career with Dresser Engineering, making his way to White Deer in 1979. That is where he met the love of his life, Kandy Mynear. They married on June 14, 1980 in White Deer and recently celebrated 43 years of marriage. In 1981, they had their son, Brandon. Once in White Deer, he started working for Getty Oil Company, eventually Texaco, in the Ranch Plant Division until 1998. Tim saw a report on the evening news that really bothered him, the statement was “The American dream was dead”. It was at that point he decided to start his own companies and prove that statement to be wrong. He started Badger Production Services and Clear Creek Companies. All of his companies were successful, and he met his goals and was able to sell all of the companies and retired in 2010. A few years into retirement, he and his son bought a farm in White Deer. In 2020 they started Bolding Gun Dogs. Tim was an accomplished dog trainer and was also able to train his miniature donkeys the same way. He had a passion to repopulate the pheasant and quail population. He did that by talking to a few of the farmers and putting a plan in place to help them grow. Tim and Brandon began to surrogate the birds and would band some to make sure his plan worked. His love for the land was unmeasurable, as he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Tim loved to teach hunting and fishing, if anyone wanted to learn. He made a lot of memories with his family traveling all across the United States and Canada. Tim designed his house in Midland and his barndominium in White Deer.

Tim was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in White Deer. His motto was “It’s not dying we are talking about, it’s living”. This is what he lived by and taught his family. He loved his family dearly and he will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Carlton and Christeen Roberts and James and Gertrude Bolding.

Survivors include his wife, Kandy of the home; son, Brandon Bolding of White Deer; nephews, Wm. Blake Bolding and wife Kearsten of Moline, Illinois and Chase Mynear and wife Kyla of White Deer; nieces, Jeni Wolfe and husband Zach of Pampa, Kelly Bolding of Lambertville, New Jersey and Brooke Bolding of Olympia, Washington; sister, Rebecca Lake and husband Keith of Lathrop, California; brothers, Mark Bolding and wife Colette of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Stan Bolding and wife Lisa of Harrison, Arkansas; great nieces and nephews; Brook Bell, Drestyn Bell, Cutter Bell, Caynden Mynear, Kale Bolding, Dawson Bolding, Paisley Wolfe, and Brandon Wolfe; mother-in-law, Nell Mynear and the late Carl Mynear; and sister-in-law, Pattie Parks.
