Tommy Johnson, 79 of Billings, Montana died October 12, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Tommy was born in Port Arthur, TX. October 16, 1945 to Tom and Bobbie Johnson. He moved to Pampa at an early age. He was a graduate of Pampa High School in 1964. Tommy started at a young age as a musician in bands in Texas, and moved to Billings, Montana in the early 1970’s to continue to pursue his musician and entertainment career. Tommy also had a love for golf and became an avid golf player, winning numerous awards.
He is survived by his son Tim and wife Rene Johnson, grandsons Wyatt and Mason Johnson of Pampa. Son Kevin Johnson, Valerie Jerry, Ryan and Hailey. Son Kyle Eggum and wife Angie Eggum, granddaughter Normie Eggum. Rosarita Mexico, daughter’s Tawna Marcum and Shaina Jo, grandchildren Mackenzi and Avery Troup and Mataya Higgs, brother Chris and wife Nita Johnson of Childress, TX. sister Lea Laycock and husband Randy Laycock of Lubbock, TX.
Tommy is preceded in death by wife Valorie, brother Mark Johnson and mother and father Bobbie and Tom Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:30pm at Billings Cremation & Burial Services Thursday, October 16, 2025 with memorial service to be held in Pampa at a later date.
