William Michael “Mike” Shipp, 69, of Pampa, and formerly of Illinois, passed away on May 23, 2023, in Pampa.
Celebration of life memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jamisen Hancock of Briarwood Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Mike was born on November 24, 1953, in Spring Valley, Illinois to Joseph and Evelyn Shipp. Mike grew up and attended school in Illinois. After high school he served in the United States Marine Corps. Mike worked for several years at Godan Industries in Peru, Illinois before coming to Texas. Mike married Kathy Shipp on February 14, 2003, and Kathy preceded him in death on February 4, 2021. Mike had interests such as music, animals, lighthouses & the ocean, but his love for Kathy was the most important. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathy; and a brother-in-law, Steve Vella.
Mike is survived by one stepdaughter, Katlin Garza of Pampa; two stepsons, Patrick Passini and wife Tandi of Tuttle, OK, and Daniel Passini and wife Amber of Canyon; five granddaughters, Christen, Aubrie, Sarah, Blair, and Soren; two grandsons, Thomas and Alex; two sisters, Karen Lashley and husband Steve of Tucson, Arizona, and Laurie Shipp of La Salle, Illinois; and other extended family.
