The ‘Yellow Rose Gala’ is returning this year, Saturday, March 25th at M.K. Brown. With a cocktail hour from six to seven, sponsored by Atomic Ice House

“We are excited to have Atomic Ice on board, sponsoring the cocktail hour by donating the champagne we will have available,” Chamber Director, Cortnie Patterson said. “Following the cocktail hour, we will have the main event starting at 7 with the Alma Quartet returning this year for the event again.”

The quartet is a jazz group, best described as bringing a Frank Sinatra vibe to any event they are in attendance at. Pampa High School seniors will be in attendance serving dinner at the event, the dinner is catered by Barb’s Catering.

“The night will kick off with a state of the chamber that I will present to all attendees,” Patterson said. “We want the banquet to focus on the good businesses and people that make Pampa amazing. We want the banquet to celebrate Pampa.”

Members of the Chamber will present the awards, six awards in total are set to be given out this year, in addition to the ‘Student of the Year’ that will be presented by a member of Pampa Independent School District.

The awards are based on nominations that citizens of Pampa can submit either online or in person when the nomination window is opened each year. After the window is closed, a committee, composed of members of the Chamber of Commerce board and chamber members, then takes all the submissions and checks eligibility for the award they have been nominated for. The traditional three awards will be given, Business, Citizen, and Student of the Year along with the recent addition of the Golden Hammer award. This year, however, there are additional awards that the committee has introduced to be given out at the big event.

“We’re looking forward to a phenomenal night,” Patterson said. “Celebrating Pampa and all the amazing people we have in our community.”

Tickets for the event are limited, but still available, and can be purchased by contacting the Chamber of Commerce at (806) 669-3241 or by visiting them in person at 200 N Ballard St.
