Altrusa International of Pampa honored Ethan Defever from Fairview Cemetery and Daniel and Jeanna Zuniga from Memory Gardens for all their help with the Wreaths Across America project. Certificates and a meal were provided to the honorees. Altrusa so appreciated all the help from their respective organizations.
Altrusa International of Pampa was awarded a grant from the Altrusa Foundation for the purchase of Spanish Children’s Books for Lovett Memorial Library. The library was able to order 280 new Spanish Children’s books. Altrusa International of Pampa recently hosted an Orientation / Reorientation breakfast for all members. Brenda Tucker gave the program and Barb Hahn coordinated the breakfast menu. The event was in the parlor at First Presbyterian Church.
Altrusa International of Pampa hosted 11 students from Travis Elementary 4th grade to the Lunch With Dignitaries Program at SWM.The students were treated to a tour of the SWM facilities and pizza and cookies.
The students were most impressed by the pipe laser cutting process.
