Canyon, Texas — The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum (PPHM) invites the community to celebrate the mathematical marvel of Pi (π) on Thursday, March 14, 2025. Pi Day at PPHM is a fun-filled event dedicated to exploring the significance of this never-ending number while enjoying pi-themed activities, story time and, of course, a pie fight!
This family-friendly event will feature Story Time from 12pm-1:00pm. This time will be for little ones and families to join us for cookies, a short craft and storytelling by The Canyon Area Library.
From 1:00pm-3:00pm families can enjoy food trucks, pi-themed activities, crafts and lawn games. Food trucks in attendance will be Tank’s Burgers, COW and Sweet Sipz Texas.
The celebration wouldn’t be complete without pie! To end the day, we’ll have a fun and epic showdown with a pi(e) fight! Goggles and ponchos will be provided to help enjoy this messy pi(e)-induced frenzy.
Discounted admission all day! Adults are $10, Children 4-12 are $5. Children 3 & under and PPHM members are free.
