The Gray County Commissioners Court met on Tuesday for a regularly-scheduled meeting.

After the opening formalities, the meeting was business as usual as the Commissioners approved the previous meetings’ minutes, County Treasurer’s Report, County Clerk’s Report and the bills to be paid.

The Commissioners also approved dedicating some funds from ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) to put toward the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1657 repairs.

“We are going to dedicate the money to fix the north wall,” County Judge Chris Porter said. “The wall is falling away from the facade so they are going to fix that and will repair/paint the south wall. Then we are going to give the money for them to repair the bathrooms in June when they get their second traunch.”

Porter added VFW Post Commander John Tripplehorn was on hand to answer questions from the Commissioners.

The Commissioners approved the following items:

• Replacing Full Time Employee for Texas DPS Pampa Office

• Replacing Full Time Employee for Precinct 4

• Racial Profiling Report for Constable Precinct 1 and 3.

• Extending Burn Ban for 30 days.
