GoGo’s Place: It’s Cluckin’ Good

Posted

Located at 725 N. Hobart sits GoGo’s Place, a convenient drive-thru establishment where just by pulling up and seeing the large grill and smoker out front, you know it’s got to be good, and that’s just the first phase of the experience.

The second phase is the moment you roll down your window at the drive thru to place an order with one of the friendly staff members and the smell of fresh grilled chicken fills your nostrils and at this moment you have a pretty good idea of what GoGo’s has to offer.

The final phase is that first bite you take down to the very last, whether you tried their mouth-watering chicken quesadillas or flautas with homemade rice and beans or you went with the all-American classic burger and onion rings. Either way, you’ll know you made the right decision stopping by that ‘awesome chicken place on Hobart.’

Gonzalo Chavez has been a resident of Pampa for many years with quite the entreprenuerial experience, shining up the floors of many Pampa businesses for more than 20 years when he had his own floor cleaning and waxing company.

Always with a friendly disposition and in the service of others, Chavez decided to take a different career route and opened up GoGo’s Place, still remaining an integral part of the community.

The purpose of GoGo’s was to offer the citizens of Pampa a convenient food option with that comforting, homemade, from-scratch quality, their ‘pollo asado’ alone being the star of the show.

But for those who just want a good, backyard burger can find it on the menu along with a plethora of classic sides, such as fried okra, pickle fries, jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks, just to name a few.

With summer just around the corner, GoGo’s is just the place to quench your thirst with their agua frescas made in-house, snowcones with many different flavors to choose from, or a classic fountain soda.

Chavez and his staff are excited to share their culinary and customer service skills to the citizens of Pampa and those traveling through, hoping to leave a lasting legacy of fantastic food and friendly service.

“We’ve been in Pampa for most of our lives and we want to serve people the best,” Chavez said. “I hope everyone sees us as part of the family and as part of the community and we invite everyone to come check it out!”

GoGo’s Place is open Tuesday through Saturday from 6 AM to 8 PM, and to call and place an order or find out what their impressive menu has to offer, call 806-663-9083.
