Grand Opening! Silva’s Imports Brings Colorful Metal Art to Pampa

The last minute cold snap is over and the Texas panhandle can finally enjoy the warm spring season, which means getting back to those activities we put off during those cold months: cookouts, gardening, outdoor get-togethers, and sprucing up our yards and homes to celebrate the season of clear, sunny skies and blooming flowers. And nothing says spring and summer like beautifully bright and colorful decor to make any home or yard burst with life and joy.

Located at 116 W. Foster in downtown Pampa is Silva’s Imports, a family-owned decor store that carries an enormous variety of metal signs and decor, pottery and planters, and many other yard and home accessories that are absolutely certain to suit your style and brighten up any space.

Started in 2019 by Nadia and Jonas Silva, Silva’s Imports began as a small establishment operated out of their own home, with the couple traveling frequently to Laredo to bring back pieces not commonly found up here in rural Texas. And as the business has grown and both Nadia and Jonas have completely committed their time and dedication to this endeavor, they have finally opened up a brick and mortar store in the heart of downtown.

“At first I just wanted to sell pots and chairs,” Nadia said. “Then on a Memorial Day weekend when everything was closed, there were a couple of other places open and they had metal work. We decided to get more pots and chairs and just a few pieces of metal, but the metal is what sold the best. So we went back and got more of the metal, and it’s just grown into something bigger and bigger.”

“When we started, it was mostly just out of our garage, but there were times we would set up on Hobart Street. Now we finally have a store, so I hope more people will know about us and come see us!”

The store features a ton of metal wall signs that will fit in any place for any personality, whether it be for the man cave or the patio, stand-alone metal statues including colorful flowers, flamingos, and the ever-popular cactuses in a variety of colors, as well as plenty of gardening pots of numerous sizes, colors, and styles.

This is a huge step in the Silva family business, and they are extremely excited to serve the Pampa community and hope to help bring some joy and color to the Texas panhandle.

“I’m so excited and nervous, but I just love it and I hope everyone will love it too, and I hope they can find something that is new and different. I couldn’t do this without my husband, he goes above and beyond, and my daughter Nayeli who has helped us so much.”

So be sure to stop by 116 W. Foster, next to The Coney, Tuesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM, and pick up that next perfect piece to brighten up your home and yard!
